Festival of Contemporary Japanese Culture

For many years the International Chodiev Foundation has been the main sponsor to J-Fest – the Festival of Contemporary Japanese Culture in Moscow. The motto of the festival is “Japan for Everyone”.

It has become the biggest platform displaying contemporary trends of Japanese culture, and is a high-profile event for cultural exchange between Russia and Japan. Visitors to the festival can attend lectures, workshops, concerts and performances across subjects including art, high-tech, fashion, gaming, traditions, gastronomy, cinema, and animation.

More than two million people have attended the festival since the first festival in 2009.
